Hedgehog Update #4

This is what a 456g hedgehog who is grumpy about being woken up to get weighed looks like. She's doing well, mostly, although we're having some trouble getting her used to dry cat food, which she's going to need to be should she wake up during hibernation.
Other than that, I've got no idea how I'm going to get through the database segment of my course. I've got relatively mild misophonia that usually isn't a problem unless I stumble across ASMR videos or am particularly stressed or tired, but the teacher manages to hit every. Single. One. Of. My. Triggers. All the fucking time. Like, I silently screamed at my desk, punched my thighs and even cried a little. It made me feel nauseous. Him clearing his throat is the worst for me, and he does it constantly. With the headphones, it sounds as if he's doing it 30cm from my ears.

Even in the Rich Text Version?
But yeah, yikes. Luckily, SQL isn't too challenging, not yet, but it's unfortunately pretty relevant for the exams.

Are you allowed to use the internet during the exam, or is it going to be a traditional one? I hate even the thought of taking an exam about SQL, or basically anything programming-related, at least if I couldn't use the internet. TBH, I don't think it's useful, either. Every programmer I know is basically married to Google anyway. I use SQL relatively often, yet I still check some really basic clauses every time I use them, because I keep mixing up their syntaxes.

And I absolutely agree with you on usefulness, but such is life in a place where bureaucracy is still run via fax machine. Signing up to the exam was a nightmare in itself because they screwed up the sign-up form and didn't even realize they had until after they (non-)answered my question regarding it.
