Lol! Uhm, I ask people on the internets things all the time, to save myself the work - I'm currently trying to get someone to tell me which printer/scanner to buy, because I don't know anything about it, myself, and considering how little I print, it just seems like way too much work to study printers enough to be able to make an informed choice. I'd be much easier if I could get someone to tell me, "Here. Buy this. It's cheap, it'll do what you want in a reasonable quality, ink cartridges aren't ridiculously expensive, and yes, it'll work ootb in Ubuntu (or close enough)", *sigh*.
