Dear Chocolatier 2018
first of all, I hope you'll have fun making something for me! I hope this letter gives you some idea of what I like about the canons I requested and also maybe some idea where to start.
Generally speaking, I like canon-flavour stories/art that are maybe a bit lighter in tone than some of the more sad/violent canons on this list, but if you stick to the level of darkness/sadness/fluff that is present in canon, you should be safe. The same goes for anything that might need a warning (warning, character death, underage, etc.) - if it's a part of canon, or a reasonable extrapolation (*cough*Game of Thrones*cough*), knock yourself out if that is what you want to write. The only thing that I really do not want is detailed depictions of depression, which is a possible trigger for me. But other than that, I really don't have any hard DNWs.
This is also the first time I'm requesting art, so please excuse me if my prompts are a bit lackluster. I did only request it where I thought it would work. If you want to draw/write porn for the pairings, I'm open to it, by the way.
Game of Thrones – Sansa/Trystane, Tyrion & Varys, Jon & Robb
I would like pretty much anything exploring these relationships. Feel free to include any other characters you want.
Sansa/Trystane: These two never meet in canon even though they would probably be perfect for each other. You could write/draw an AU where their marriage is arranged by their parents and they meet as kids or one where they both survive canon events and meet eventually, maybe?
Tyrion and Varys' friendship is an interesting one, and I always love their scenes together (my favourite is probably the one from the latest season where they talk about serving Targaryen monarchs). Two outsiders, both witty, with a lot in common but very different as well. Maybe you could write/draw something about them playing cyvasse or gossiping about their colleagues or plotting something that's in Daenerys' best interest.
Jon & Robb: I love things that explore their relationship as brothers, especially if it's more complicated than just unconditional love for each other, but also some rivalry, their personalities and different outlooks on life clashing and them arguing and making up afterwards. I'd prefer it if they were not too young (maybe ten and older), but pre-canon, canon-compliant during Robert's visit or an AU where they both live and meet up somehow would all interest me.
The Hobbit (movies) – Balin & Dwalin, Legolas & Tauriel
Balin & Dwalin: They brothers, but we don't really get to see them as such often, even in fic, which generally focusses on their relationship with Thorin. So I'd like something just about them, preferably not pre-Smaug, but instead in Ered Luin, during the quest or settling in Erebor afterwards.
Legolas & Tauriel: I'd like them to meet up again, after Legolas has had some time to get over his crush on her and she's had time to grieve. So maybe something set when he returns home after some time with the rangers, or where they meet while she travels the world, or even something set after the Lord of the Rings, either back home or in Ithilien. Also, I ship Legolas/Gimli, so you could include that as a background as well, provided the story is mostly about the friendship between Legolas and Tauriel.
Rivers of London – Thomas/Varvara, Dominic & Peter
Thomas/Varvara: I don't have much to say about these two, unfortunately. I just think they'd make an interesting couple, what with both of them being strong practitioners and a somewhat antagonistic relationship to begin with, yet also a lot in common. Drunken one-night-stands, slowly falling in love, I'm up for anything!
Dominic & Peter: I'd like to read something about Dominic visiting London, either alone or with his fiancé/husband, and Peter showing him around or involving him in some trouble. Involve any of the other characters you want to!
The Vikings – Einar/Eric, Einar & Eric
I don't care if it's slashy or not, I just want something about these two characters and their intense relationship. They hate each other even before the whole thing with the bird (why?), they want the same woman, yet they can also respect each other in some way. And what if Morgana stops Eric from killing Einar and they somehow have to deal with being brothers? Is part of their dislike for each other that they secretly want each other (or were they a thing growing up and it ended badly)? Can they reluctantly become friends? So many questions never answered and if you could shed a little light onto any of them I'd be thrilled.
