rodoSo yeah, the train chaos is definitely wiping me out – although there’s still a train running, just earlier and for half the distance. On the whole, 60% of trains on my commuting route are cancelled, which means fun all around (and a lot of standing). There’s always delays (or a train just not running for nebulous reasons) … the record so far is 80 minutes in the morning, which meant I was really late even though I had to get up half an hour earlier, and 85 minutes on the return journey. On top of that, I have twice-weekly doctor’s appointments in the afternoon afterwards, so there wasn’t really much of my free time left for fandom things.
But, the good news! I still managed to write my Fandom 5K assignment! I hope my recipient is going to like it. Still, I am not looking forward to a repeat of last year, when my lingering pinch hit inadvertently helped cause a lot of wank. I chose a different slate of fandoms this time, hoping it wouldn’t come to this, but I guess I’m doomed to linger again. Hopefully this time without causing multiple delays and people flouncing over it.
