Warrior Season 3 Thoughts

rodotl;dr: I loved it.
The long version:
So, after watching the finale I have ALL THE FEELINGS, in the absolute best way. I was a bit worried about whether or not the third season would hold up, especially once I knew that Penny wouldn’t be in it. I think for most people that would probably be a plus, but she kind of grew on me with each episode, and her ending in the second season was probably realistic but definitely a downer. But anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the quality of the series did not drop in the least. (I guess a subset is going to hate how things ended with Young Jun and Ah Sahm, but to me it makes sense and the fight was *chef’s kiss*.)
In general, there was just so much to love there: Ah Sahm trying to find himself, Mai Ling getting caught up in her schemes, Li Young getting a friend (and a bit of independence), Hong getting a boyfriend (if only he hadn’t brought his work home with him…), Ah Toy and Nellie getting beaten down (but not forever), Chao and Lee going on an involuntary road trip, Bill finally saying he’s had enough and Leary finally beating up people who deserve it. And Young Jun and Father Jun… they were just so lovely and great and a super awesome father and son relationship, violence and all.
Now I’m really hoping there’ll be a fourth season.
