LOL, use the internet? This is Germany we're talking about. The most that they've adapted to modernity is that we're now allowed to use very basic calculators during the exam. It's pen and paper all the way here. I hear we might get a list of SQL commands if we're lucky.
And I absolutely agree with you on usefulness, but such is life in a place where bureaucracy is still run via fax machine. Signing up to the exam was a nightmare in itself because they screwed up the sign-up form and didn't even realize they had until after they (non-)answered my question regarding it.
