rodo: chuck on a roof in winter (Default)
I am so tired. Really. I just finished reading "The State and Labor in Modern Japan" and the last 50 pages or so were so hard to fight my way through. Whenever I started reading something came up. A phone call, other stuff that was more urgent. Really. Whenever I opened the book today (and last week) someone called.

Today it was my brother, who had done nearly all of his homework and called just to say he was bored (I wish I had that problem once in a while). And so we got talking about some nonsense until he brought up his last assignment and I gave him an idea. No idea what exactly went through his head but he'll probably tell me tomorrow.

After that, I phoned my mom, and she was busy. My aunt and uncle were visiting. So I ate something, and after that I opened the book and... she called me back.

But that is over now. Yay. Only ten books to read, give or take. And right now, I'd really love to sleep a bit, but it's impossible. Either it's too hot because the window is closed, or it's too loud because some guys are standing under the tree next to my window and they are talking/slurring really loud. And the play music with a jukebox or something. At least they have a good taste. It's the Libertines.
