2006-07-21 08:07 pmSo today was the day: My big Japanese exam that I have to pass to go from basic studies to main studies. And it went... well, it went. The circumstances were less than good.
First I could not study properly because it has been incredibly hot the last two weeks (or rather: the last month). My room temperature is normally around 30°C (at the moment it's 34°C). Second yesterday was the hottest day of the year, and hardly anybody could get a decent night's sleep. We weren't that nervous, it was simply too hot to sleep. And then I woke up at about six o'clock because my whole room smelt of something burnt. No idea why, it just did. So I went to university being very tired and very annoyed. The exam was very difficult, but not as difficult as it could have been, so I have to wait and see. Oh, and it was not only hot, there was a constuction site next to the room. No wonder nobody could concentrate.
