Word of the day:

About a week ago I had a conversation with a few friends and somehow we ended up wondering if there was a word for the hatred of men. We could not think of one, even though we all knew the word misogyny, which we learnt during a gender studies course we do not have very fond memories of (except for the fact that we all became friends because we were in the same group for a project). However, we agreed that there should be a smart word we could use to describe someone's hatred of men.

I suggested misandry. Turns out I was right, that word does exist, and there even is a very long article about it on wikipedia.
