I own the original anime as a sub. I know. Japanese animes with German are always ... well, let's just say that I wouldn't be able to understand a word without the subtitles (I'm looking at you, NGE).
At least they managed to use the ß. There's this one Gackt booklet where they use a B instead. "WeiB" and "BuBe" are German words, just not the ones they were going for.
