Because I would love to read your opinion on it. I know my experience isn't universal (part of the idea behind this post was to tell other people that their experience isn't, so ...) and it's probably different for everyone in every fandom. And this:

I totally agree with you here. Especially reading with the intention of reviewing/commenting/writing feedback is work because I, at least, have to concentrate more. I also read more carefully and sometimes re-read passages and make notes.
And while I am perfectly able to give concrit, I am very much unable to do it without making the writer feel bad. I have no idea why, but I just can't really convey enthusiasm online (and offline, which is why my brother stopped asking for my opinion on things he drew or designed).
