I guess I must have conveniently missed the instances where the fans were mistreated.
I was very emotionally invested in TW, and so the emotional sucker punch hurt all the more. But RTD annoyed me a lot, not just with this. His Doctor Who episodes and plotlines were very cringeworthy in the end. His vision seems great, but the execution is another matter.
