Posting and Archives
2007-02-24 02:07 amI'm really starting to dislike fiction archives.
I wrote an account of a journey. I put a lot of time in it. And I almost like it, which is more than I can say for some of my other works.
So of course I wanted to post it. Fictionpress.com? As far as I can tell it's against the rules, but they are not very clear in saying what is allowed and what isn't. And I can't access the FAQ. Plus I am rather reluctant to ask the staff about anything, they're fanfiction.net's sister archive after all, and I never get answers/reactions there. Animexx? I got told to post it in my weblog. I think it's because it is not fictional. I would say it's a mixture between fact and fiction. It's rather personal as well. Maybe I just have a weird definition of what is worth being published.
But still, it is quite frustrating. You put work into something and you can't publish it someplace where you might get the responses you're looking for.
