rodoWell. I just wanted to say that I survived Christmas. It was even quite nice this time. My mother did not have a nervous breakdown so far (probably because she started taking antidepressants again) and my brother tries to make himself work on his projects; unfortunately without any success, so he mainly sits in front of the TV.
But I am no better. On the 25th we both spent three hours watching a (bad) Bollywood movie. And yesterday we watched a documentary about Indians in Argentina (because my mother had the remote control).
But apart from that, I spend most of my time reading. Either The Taming of the Samurai or Master and Commander, which was one of my Christmas presents. The others were the first "Saber Rider" DVD (I loved the series when I was about six, and because I don't remember anything I wanted to watch them again.), London Labour and the London Poor (because I am interested in the topic) and "Friends of mine" from Adam Green, which I unfortunately have not got yet, because it was sold out in Bremen and Amazon...
...well, horribly screwed up with my presents. Normally, you get everything you order there without any problems and on time. And so my mother and brother ordered the presents there. And the parcel arrived on time too, but unfortunately, it was not our parcel, they just put the wrong address on it. Now, everybody would think it should not be a problem to send the stuff back and they would send you the right parcel, but that's not the case. Because Amazon does not have a standard procedure for this. They tell you that you got your parcel because you signed at the post office (and because their computer says so). So in the end, my mother send the parcel back and ordered everything again. My presents finally arrived on the 23rd when my brother and I were making cookies.
Well, that was everything so far.
