First things first, you do not have to ask for permission if you want to use my characters, settings or other elements from my stories, both originals and fanfics. I merely ask that you make it clear which parts of your stories are originally mine. So if you want to write a sequel to one of my stories or something containing my OCs, you have to say so in the A/N of your story, preferably with a link. As for other kinds of derivative works:

Fanart:

Any kind of fanart is okay provided you add an explanation to your art/manip/etc. mentioning what inspired you. By "fanart" I also mean vids, crafts and the like.

Fanfic:

You can write fanfic for my stories provided you 1) make clear it's a fanfic for one of my stories, 2) not an official continuation of any kind and 3) you don't use my own words beyond short quotes.

Podfics:

You can make podfics for any of my stories, but please link back to the original. If you edit or shorten the text, please say so. Also check if the story you want to record has already been recorded. So far, that's only Der 50. Geburtstag oder Dinner for Five and Waiting, as far as I know.

Sporkings/MSTings:

Please do not use more than half of my story's text and add comments that are significantly longer than the quotes you used.

Translations:

Feel free to translate any of my stories, provided nobody has translated them into the language in question yet (so far translated: The Taming of a Crazy Horse - into Russian). I'd also like it if you posted them on the AO3 and marked them as translations, so that the stories are linked, for anyone who wants to read the original. Should you wish to translate a German/English story into English/German, I'd also like to beta the translation.

And finally: please tell me when you upload any derivative work. You don't necessarily have to, and you needn't be afraid that I'll retract permission or anything like it. I'd simply like to know.
