Dear Yuletide Writer

generally speaking, I am a gen and slash reader, but I really don't mind het and femslash if it fits the story. Relationships and character dynamics are rather important to me, especially if the story is smutty. What I really would rather not read are deathfics (potentially triggering), detailed depictions of mental illnesses (again, potentially triggering) or things like detailed depictions necrophila and cannibalism (just plain squicky). I am, however, okay with minor character death (if it's not especially detailed) and non-detailed descriptions of the other three. Apart from that, I really don't mind most things. Rape, violence, mpreg, excessive fluff etc. are fine by me, even though I don't necessarily crave them (see specific requests).
Other things that I like or don't like: I love bittersweet undertones (mono no aware, if you will) or quirky humour and applied research. What I don't like are misused/misspelled foreign words (German and Japanese especially, but French as well), since they'll always throw me out of a story if I notice them. I also wouldn't recommend reading my stories to find out what I like, because a) I actually don't write the type of stories that I'd like to read and b) they're in German anyway.
The fandoms:
Velvet Goldmine: Arthur/Curt. My favourite movie. And the pairing that I love. I think by now, I have read almost every story about them that's on the web; the good, the bad and the ugly. Everything. I'd most like to read something set after the movie, but not immediately after, and something that involves them or one of them interacting with persons other than themselves. Their families, their friends, Brian, Mandy, an OC, I don't really care, but so many fics that I read are focussed on the two of them without anybody else playing a part, and I'd love to read something a bit less ... secluded. I'd also prefer it if the story ended happily. In the end, though, I'll read more or less everything, as long as it's not Arthur/Curt as an interlude or poor substitute for Brian/Curt (a pairing that I only like in the movie, not in fanfic). Can be friendshippy too.
The Dresden Files: Harry & Thomas. First of all, I have read all eleven books and don't mind spoilers for the short stories and comics that I didn't read. I really don't care if it's slash or gen, as long as it's about Harry and Thomas. I absolutely adore Thomas and I think the two are too cute for words. I'd really like to read something set after Thomas moves into his own flat and I've been wondering how them being brothers might affect them/Thomas meeting and working with other wizards (especially Carlos), but neither of those is an absolute must for the story, I'll enjoy it anyway. The only thing that I really don't want to read is Harry/Murphy, not even as a side pairing. I am probably the only person in fandom who doesn't ship them *shrug*.
Let Dai: Dai/Jaehee. I'd like to read something set after the manga about them being together. I'd like it if it involved some of the other characters (parents, Dai's siblings, Naru, etc.), but really, I'm happy to read any story about them as adults, about how they have and haven't changed. About how they meet up and how they found each other. Preferably somewhere between bittersweet and happy, but I'll read anything but a tragic ending for those two.
Kings (TV series): Jack Benjamin. After watching the series, I really only wanted Jack to have a happy end. And that's more or less what I'd like to ask for. Now I don't want him to be totally happy, I don't think Jack could ever be totally happy, but I'd be okay with a silver lining on the horizon too. I do want him to be happier than he was at the end of the series. I'd also be glad if the story included his relationship with Michelle and David, but I'm not necessarily looking for slash or a threesome fic. I'd much rather see Jack accept himself as the person he is, and I'd like to see him happy with what he has (even if it's just a friendship with his fiancée/wife). If you're going for slash, maybe one of David's brothers or an OC?
I hope you weren't intimidated by the big wall of text here, I'm really not that picky and the story absolutely doesn't have to fit all of the specifications. I hope I made that clear.
