So, in general, I’m a bit busy right now. I don’t really learn anything about programming, since the program I’m in is structured in a way that means I have to learn basically everything else first. Right now, that means a lot of subnetting, which isn’t that bad. Unlike the rest of my course, I kind of like it. Not looking forward to the accounting portion, though.

As for fandom news: last year, I participated in my first fandom auction (sunflower_auction) and actually won a bid, and now the fic is finished!

Summary:

The only daughter of Emperor Ai falls in love with a rebel lord's son as they manoeuvre through the plots of the court of a crumbling empire. So, I really like Canon Divergence AUs, and this fandom needs more of them. This one is my favourite, though. It diverges pre-canon, actually, with the rebellion of Ning Yi’s father failing. I really liked the bits where Feng Zhiwei plots and schemes against her crazy family in a way that shows being royal just royally sucks.

I think I mentioned my obsession with Horrible Histories, although "obsession" might be a bit tame a word for the utter glee I feel when listening to the songs. And since I just found a couple of new videos to listen to, it reminded me that there was also great Yuletide fic that I don't think I linked yet. But first, the songs:
